【Abstract】Objective: To study the clinical effect of self-made antihypertensive prescription on the treatment of refractory hypertension. Methods: 64 patients were divided into an observation group (n=33) and a control group (n=31) according to random number table. The control group was given western medicine of standard treatment. The observation group, on the basis of western medicine of the control group, was given oral self-made antihypertensive decoction combined with foot bath treatment. The course was 3 months. Results: The systolic and diastolic blood pressures of the two groups decreased and the difference was significant (P<0.05), but the degree of decline and blood pressure compliance rate of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The mean AngⅡof the patients in the two groups was lower than before and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), but the degree of improvement in the observation group was superior to that in the control group, with a significant difference (P<0.05). The mean Hcy of the two groups decreased than before. The comparison of pre-and-post treatment of the observation group showed the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), The comparison of pre-and-post treatment of the control group showed the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The scores of SAS, SDS and SPIEGEL in the two groups improved, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), but the improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Self-made hypotension prescription can improve anxiety and depression, reduce the levels of Hcy and AngⅡand achieve the goal of controlling hypertension and improving clinical effectiveness.
