From ASEAN"s perspective, ASEAN+1is a bilateral mechanism with which othercountries can strengthen cooperation withASEAN. So far, through this mechanism,ASEAN has established partnerships withChina, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia,New Zealand and the EU respectively.
