Beijing took the lead by hosting Beijing Week in May. Since then, many local arts have been featured, such as the New Year paintings of Tianjin"s Yangliuqing Town, the pastoral songs of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the song-and-dance duet popu-lar in northeast China and the acrobatics of Hebei"s Wuqiao County.
