China’s Ministry of Education onJanuary 19 gave a green light to theestablishment of a division of NewYork University (NYU) in Shanghai.NYU in Shanghai, the American university’ssecond degree-granting campus abroad, willbe located in Pudong New Area. Local EastChina Normal University (ECNU) is theChinese partner of the joint university.
